Moving on to the next big expense for any party, especially a graduation party, is the FOOD. A great way to save money is by serving dishes that can be made in large portions for a low cost. It helps satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth at the end of the meal, or you can even leave the desserts out throughout the party so guests can snack whenever they want. You can also turn it into a cute party favor moment by providing small bags so guests can take desserts home with them.

Overall, it’s an easy setup that looks great and will definitely have guests going back for seconds. For your dessert table, you can keep it as simple or as extensive as you want. You can include a mix of cookies, cupcakes, pastries, your graduation cake, candy, and anything else you’d like to add.

Another helpful tip is to use smaller vases so you don’t need as many flowers to fill each one. This allows you to buy fewer stems while still making everything look full and pretty. For vases, you can shop at places like thrift stores, Dollar Tree, or Walmart to stay within budget.

Play “Who Knows the Graduate Best” Party Game

When it comes to games and activities for your graduation party; a “Who Knows the Grad Best” game is such a fun, easy, and may I add… CHEAP game to play. 

The whole point of the game is to see how well your guests really know you. You, as the graduate, come up with different questions about your likes, dislikes, and preferences, and then your guests try to guess the answers to see who knows you best.

There are a few different ways to play. You can print out the questions and pass them out to each guest, or you can call out the questions verbally and have guests raise their hands quickly to answer. Either way, it turns into a fun and interactive moment during the party.
